Valerie Muriel Jellay (born Valerie Jelly; September 1927 – 6 May 2017) was a famous Australian entertainer. She was known for many things: acting, singing, dancing, and even writing! Valerie started performing when she was only four years old and kept entertaining people well into her 80s.
She was married to another well-known Australian entertainer, Maurie Fields. They were often seen as a great team in the entertainment world. Her son, Marty Fields, is also a comedian and actor.
