Valentina Diouf was born in Milan, Italy. Her father is from Senegal, and her mother is from Italy. She grew up to become a very tall and strong volleyball player.
Her Volleyball Journey
Valentina has played in many important volleyball games. One of her biggest moments was playing with Italy's national team in the 2014 World Championship. Her team played very well in this big competition.
They made it to the bronze medal match. This is a game to decide who gets third place. Italy played against Brazil and it was a very close game. They lost 2–3, which means they finished in fourth place. Even though they didn't win a medal, it was a great achievement to reach the top four teams in the world!

Amazing Awards and Wins
Valentina Diouf has won several awards during her career. These awards show how talented she is as a volleyball player. She has received honors for her individual skills and for her team's success.
Individual Honors
- In the 2014-15 CEV Champions League, she was named the "Best opposite spiker." This means she was the best player in her position in that big European competition.
- She was also the "MVP" (Most Valuable Player) in the 2016–17 CEV Cup. This award means she was considered the best player in the entire tournament.
