Valeriy Zuyev (born November 7, 1952 – died May 6, 2016) was a talented football player and coach from Ukraine. He was born in Kiev, which is the capital city of Ukraine. Valeriy Zuyev played as a defender during his career.

He played for the USSR national team in 1975. This was during a qualifying game for the UEFA Euro 1976 tournament against Turkey.

Valeriy Zuyev passed away in Kiev on May 6, 2016, at the age of 63, after a long illness.

Valeriy Zuyev started his football journey at a young age. From 1963 to 1969, he was part of the youth team at FC Dynamo Kyiv. This is a very famous football club in Ukraine. Valeriy Zuyev spent most of his playing career with FC Dynamo Kyiv. He played for their main team from 1969 to 1979. During this time, he played 68 games and scored 1 goal as a defender.
