Vanessa Pose was born in Caracas, Venezuela. Her father is from Uruguay and her mother is from Cuba. She has a twin brother named Andrés. She also has an older brother named Alejandro.
In 2011, Vanessa reconnected with her childhood friend, Pedro Romero. They got married in 2012. In 2014, Vanessa and Pedro welcomed their baby girl.

Vanessa started her acting career in 2005. Her first role was in a TV show called Con toda el Alma. She played two characters, Maria Victoria Serrano and Camila Villafane. Camila was the main bad guy for the first two seasons.
