Vendela Maria Kirsebom (born January 12, 1967) is a famous Norwegian-Swedish model, TV host, and actress. She has worked in fashion, appeared in movies, and hosted popular TV shows.

Early Life and First Steps in Modeling
Vendela Kirsebom was born in Stockholm, Sweden. Her mother was Norwegian, and her father was Turkish.
When she was just 13, a famous modeling agent named Eileen Ford discovered her in a restaurant in Stockholm. At 18, after finishing school at the Oslo Waldorf School, Vendela moved to Italy. She started her modeling career there with help from Ford Models.
A Career in Fashion and Film
At 20, Vendela moved to New York City. Soon after, she signed a big six-year contract with Elizabeth Arden, a well-known beauty company. She also modeled for many other fashion brands across the United States and Europe. In 1996, she became a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF, helping children around the world.
Vendela also appeared in several movies and TV shows:
- In 1997, she played Nora Fries in the movie Batman and Robin.
- In 1998, she was a bridal gown model in The Parent Trap, which starred Lindsay Lohan.

Personal Life and Family
In the early 1990s, Vendela was engaged to film producer Jon Peters. In 1996, she married Olaf Thommessen, a Norwegian politician. They had two daughters together. They separated in 2007 after 11 years of marriage.
In 2019, Vendela got engaged to Petter Pilgaard. They got married in June 2022. Their wedding was delayed a bit because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Vendela is very good with languages! Besides Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish, she also speaks German, Italian, and English very well.
