Veronica Taylor is an American voice actress. She is famous for lending her voice to many characters in English versions of Japanese animated shows, called anime.
Her most well-known role is Ash Ketchum from the Pokémon anime. She also voiced Ash's mom, Delia, for the first eight seasons. Veronica Taylor has also voiced Amelia Wil Tesla Seyruun in Slayers, Sailor Pluto in Sailor Moon, Nico Robin in the 4Kids version of One Piece, and April O'Neil in the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. She has also voiced characters in video games and narrated many audiobooks.

Early Life and Acting Dreams
Veronica Taylor, whose real name is Kathleen Charlotte McInerney, knew she wanted to be an actress from a young age. She was only five years old when she performed in her first play.
She studied acting at two universities: The Catholic University of America and Brandeis University. Before becoming a full-time voice actress, she even worked as a teacher for a year at Pigeon Forge High School.
Voice Acting Career
Before moving to New York, Veronica Taylor performed in many plays. She toured with different theater groups across the United States.
Her voice roles include some very famous characters. She voiced Ash Ketchum, his mother Delia, and May in the 4Kids English version of the Pokémon anime. She was also the voice of April O'Neil in the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show. Other roles include Amelia Wil Tesla Seyruun in Slayers, Mangchi in Hammerboy, Nico Robin in the 4Kids version of One Piece, and Sailor Pluto in the Viz Media version of Sailor Moon.
Veronica Taylor has said that voicing Ash Ketchum was a huge responsibility for her. She felt it changed how she wanted to be in the world. Besides voice acting for animated shows, she has also narrated many audiobooks. These include books by popular authors like Judy Blume and the Warriors series.
Personal Life
Veronica Taylor has one daughter named Rena, who was born in 1998. She used to live in New York City, but she moved to Los Angeles, California in 2015.
She has strong connections to the Washington, D.C. area and Boston. She played women's soccer for the Catholic University Cardinals. She is also a fan of the Washington Commanders (football), Washington Capitals (hockey), and Boston Red Sox (baseball) sports teams. Her parents also went to Catholic University and toured with the same theater group she did.
