Kathleen Charlotte McInerney, known professionally as Veronica Taylor, is an American voice actress. She is famous for lending her voice to many characters in English versions of Japanese animated shows, called dubbing.
Her most well-known roles include Ash Ketchum and his mom, Delia, in the first eight seasons of the Pokémon anime. She also voiced Amelia Wil Tesla Seyruun from Slayers and Sailor Pluto in Sailor Moon. You might also know her as Nico Robin in the 4Kids version of One Piece or April O'Neil from the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. She has also voiced characters in video games, like Cosmos from the Dissidia Final Fantasy series. Besides voice acting, she narrates many audiobooks, using her real name.
Early Life and Education
Veronica Taylor knew she wanted to be an actress from a very young age. She was only five years old when she performed in her first play! She went on to study acting at The Catholic University of America and Brandeis University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama in 1987 and a Master's degree in 1993.
Her Amazing Voice Career
Before becoming a voice actress, Taylor performed in many plays. She toured with different theater groups across the United States. Eventually, she settled in New York, where her voice acting career began to take off.
Veronica Taylor has voiced many beloved characters. Her role as Ash Ketchum in Pokémon is one of her most iconic. She also voiced Ash's mom, Delia, and even May in the same series. She once said that voicing Ash was "the greatest responsibility of my life."
She brought April O'Neil to life in the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show. Other famous anime roles include Amelia Wil Tesla Seyruun in Slayers and Nico Robin in the 4Kids dub of One Piece. She also voiced Sailor Pluto in the Viz Media dubs of Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon Crystal.
Beyond cartoons, Veronica Taylor is also a talented narrator for audiobooks. She has narrated books by popular authors like Judy Blume and Wendy Mass. She even narrated parts of the Warriors series, which are very popular books about cats.

Personal Life
Veronica Taylor has one daughter named Rena, who was born in 1998. She lived in New York City for many years before moving to Los Angeles, California, in 2015.
She has strong connections to the Washington, D.C. area and Boston. She even played women's soccer for the Catholic University Cardinals! She is a big fan of sports teams like the Washington Commanders, Washington Capitals, and Boston Red Sox. Both of her parents also attended Catholic University and were involved in theater.
