Vetlanda BK is a popular bandy club from Vetlanda, Sweden. Bandy is a sport played on ice, similar to ice hockey but with a ball instead of a puck. The team's main color is yellow.
This club started way back in December 1944. Even though the exact date is a bit fuzzy, people usually say it was on December 6th. Their very first game was on January 1, 1945. They played away against Flugeby and the game ended in a 4–4 tie.
Vetlanda BK plays its home games at the Hydro Arena. Over the years, they have become very successful. They have won the Swedish bandy championship three times! These big wins happened in 1986, 1991, and 1992. They also won the European Cup once, in 1991.
