The Vice-President of Zimbabwe is a very important political job in Zimbabwe. It's the second-highest position in the country, right after the President.
Since 1990, Zimbabwe has had two Vice-Presidents at the same time. Before that, from 1987 to 1990, there was only one. The President of Zimbabwe chooses who will be the Vice-Presidents. They are called "First Vice-President" and "Second Vice-President." This order shows who would take over if something happened to the President.
Usually, the ruling political party, ZANU–PF, picks one Vice-President from the Shona group and the other from the Northern Ndebele group. This helps make sure different groups in the country are represented.
