Vicente Amigo Girol was born on March 25, 1967. He is a Spanish flamenco musician. Vicente is a talented composer and guitarist. He was born in Guadalcanal, a town near Seville.
Vicente Amigo has played guitar for many famous flamenco singers. He has worked with artists like Camarón de la Isla and Luis de Córdoba. He also helped produce music for Remedios Amaya and José Mercé. His album Ciudad de las Ideas won a Latin Grammy Award in 2001. It was named the Best Flamenco Album. In 2002, he also won an Ondas award for his flamenco work.

Vicente Amigo's Life and Music
Vicente Amigo grew up in Córdoba. He started taking guitar lessons there. Later, he learned even more from the famous guitarist Manolo Sanlúcar. Vicente worked with Manolo for ten years.
After playing guitar to support other singers, Vicente decided to focus on his own concerts. This began in 1988. His first solo album was called De Mi Corazón al Aire. This means From Out of My Heart. It was released in 1991.
Vicente Amigo has always admired Paco de Lucía, another legendary guitarist. They even performed together in a show called "Legends of the Guitar" in Seville.
