Early Life and Education
Viktoriya Tolstoganova was born in Moscow, Russia. Her father was an engineer, and her mother was an English teacher. Viktoriya has three younger sisters. After finishing high school, she wanted to study acting.
In 1992, Viktoriya was accepted into two famous theater schools. She chose the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS). There, she learned about traditional Russian acting from Professor Joseph Heifits. While still a student, she joined the Moscow Art Theatre. She worked there until the mid-2000s. Viktoriya graduated from GITIS in 1997. Her first big movie role was in the short film “Day Duty.”
