Andrey Batt (born Andrey Sergeevich Batychko on August 6, 1985) is a talented Russian actor, rapper, songwriter, and producer. He became well-known in the United States, Russia, Brazil, and Europe. Andrey started his career in 2009, appearing in commercials and TV shows. He has found success in television, movies, and music. In 2016, he made history as the first musician to perform a halftime show at the EuroLeague basketball event.

Early Life: Growing Up and Discovering Talents
Andrey Sergeevich Batychko was born on August 6, 1985, in Tallinn, which was part of the Soviet Union at the time.
When he was three years old, Andrey's family moved to Moscow, Russia. Even before starting first grade, he loved to paint.
In 1992, Andrey went to a special High School in Moscow that focused on English Arts. By the age of nine, he was already acting in school plays.
His stage name, "Batt," has been with him since he was young. It means "Bat" in the Creole dialect.
At eleven, Batt started playing basketball for his English High School's team.
While in school, Andrey also got interested in making films. After finishing school in 2003, he directed his own projects. These included documentary films and music videos. He also wrote music and songs for artists from different countries.
Acting Career: From TV Shows to Movies

Andrey began acting in 2009. He appeared in several commercials and TV shows. His first acting job was in a sports commercial for the NTV Plus channel. Later, he starred in TV shows like Wedding Ring and The Capital of Sin. In The Capital of Sin, he worked with famous Russian actors.
In 2010, Batt moved to Los Angeles, USA. There, he studied acting and filmmaking. A year later, he appeared in American TV shows. These included Justified, where he acted alongside Timothy Olyphant, and The Walking Dead. After these roles, Andrey became known to TV viewers around the world.
In 2011, Andrey was considered for a role in the popular American comedy show Eastbound & Down on HBO. He was almost cast as a Russian baseball player, Ivan Dochenko. However, the role went to another actor.
While working on TV, Andrey also started acting in movies. He filmed an independent Japanese movie called Fighting Spirit. This movie has not been released yet.
Andrey Batt also appeared in a big Russian comedy show called Comedy Club. He performed with comedian Serge "Goreliy" Gorelikov.
In the summer of 2014, Andrey announced his first Russian superhero movie. It is called Hero.
Music Career: Releasing Hit Songs
Andrey Batychko's first song as his hip-hop self, Batt, was "Love Above the Clouds" ("Любовь над облаками"). It was released on January 15, 2013, on iTunes.
The official music video for "Love Above the Clouds" was put on YouTube on January 25, 2013. The video was filmed in Moscow and directed by Igor Ivanov.
The "Love Above the Clouds" music video features several Russian celebrities and athletes. These include:
- Actress Darya Melnikova, known for her role in the TV series "Daddy's Daughters".
- Anton Ponkrashov, a bronze medalist from the 2012 Olympic Games in basketball.
- Anatoly Kashirov, a silver medalist from the 2009 Universiade in basketball.
- Sami, the three-year-old son of famous Russian hip-hop star Alex Dolmatov, also known as Guf.
On December 16, 2013, Batt released his second song, "Letniy" ("Летний"). This song featured vocals from Darya Melnikova. Batt wrote and produced the song himself. A music video for "Letniy" was released on August 27, 2014. Many critics liked the video.
Philanthropy: Helping Others
Andrey Batt started the Charity Box Foundation. This organization helps children with disabilities.
The foundation regularly holds special programs and events to support these kids.
