Villa del Cerro is in a special spot in Montevideo. It's on the western side of the city. To its west, you'll find the neighborhood of Casabó. To the north, it borders La Paloma.

On its northeast side, there's the Pantanoso Creek. To the east, you can see the big Bay of Montevideo. The coastline stretches south from the bay. Here, you'll find the lovely beach of the Cerro.
