Vincent Mhlanga was an important politician from a country in Southern Africa called Eswatini. He worked in the King's Office, which is a very important part of the government.

Becoming Acting Prime Minister

In 2018, the Prime Minister of Eswatini, Barnabas Sibusiso Dlamini, stepped down from his job. Because of this, Vincent Mhlanga was chosen to be the acting Prime Minister. An "acting" leader means they are in charge for a short time until a new permanent leader is chosen.

He officially started his duties as acting Prime Minister on September 7, 2018. During this time, he helped lead the country.

Leaving Office

Vincent Mhlanga served as acting Prime Minister for about two months. He left the position on October 27, 2018. After him, Ambrose Mandvulo Dlamini became the new Prime Minister of Eswatini.

Later Life

Sadly, Vincent Mhlanga passed away on December 24, 2020. He died from COVID-19, a sickness that affected many people around the world.
