Vini Vici is a music group from Israel. It's made up of two talented musicians, Matan Kadosh and Aviram Saharai, who create a type of electronic music called psytrance. They are from a city in Israel called Afula.

Before they were known as Vini Vici, the group started in 2001 under a different name: Sesto Sento. Back then, there were three members: Matan Kadosh, Aviram Saharai, and Itai Spector. Itai Spector left the group in 2011. In 2013, Matan and Aviram decided to continue making music together, and that's when they started their new project, 'Vini Vici'.

The Start of Their Musical Journey

Sesto Sento: Early Years (2001–2013)

Aviram Saharai and Itai Spector were classmates in high school. When they were about 15 years old, they began making "trancey music" and called themselves 'Sesto Sento'. Soon after, Matan Kadosh, who was 17 and known as a DJ at school, joined them.

Within just one week, the three of them created their first music album. It was released in 2001. One of their albums, Come Together (released in 2006), became very popular and earned a Gold Record. This means it sold a lot of copies! They also made another kind of electronic music, more like techno, under the name 'Ferbi Boys'.

Over time, Itai Spector became more interested in living a very Orthodox Jewish life. This meant he slowly stopped performing in public. In 2011, he decided to leave the band completely. He felt that playing music was not right for his strict religious beliefs. However, he remained good friends with Matan and Aviram. After Itai left, another musician named Dror Elkayam joined Sesto Sento for a while, but he also later left the group.

Vini Vici: A New Beginning (2013–Present)

In 2013, Aviram Saharai and Matan Kadosh decided to start fresh with a new music project called 'Vini Vici'. They wanted to create a new sound.

Their big break came in 2015 with a song called "The Tribe." This song was part of their first album as Vini Vici, which was named Future Classics. Aviram Saharai said that "The Tribe" showed the main idea of Vini Vici's music style. He explained that they wanted to mix "world music" sounds with "psytrance."

At first, "The Tribe" was popular mostly with fans of underground psytrance music. But then, many famous EDM DJs started playing it. This helped Vini Vici become very well-known around the world. By 2019, "The Tribe" had been played over 11 million times on Spotify!

Vini Vici also made a popular remix of a song called "Free Tibet" by Hilight Tribe. By 2019, this remix had been played more than 94 million times on YouTube. Later, in 2016, they worked with a famous Dutch trance producer named Armin van Buuren and Hilight Tribe. Together, they created a song called "Great Spirit." This song was a huge hit, getting over a million plays in just one week!

In 2017, Vini Vici released more popular songs like "FKD Up Kids" and "Ravers Army." That same year, a Dutch hardstyle producer named Wildstylez made a remix of "Great Spirit." Vini Vici also teamed up with a Dutch duo called W&W to make a song called "Chakra." This song quickly reached the number one spot on the Beatport Psy-Trance Chart within 24 hours of its release.

In 2018, Vini Vici started their very own music label called Alteza Records. This label is part of Armada Music. Through Alteza Records, they released more collaborations. These included "100" with Timmy Trumpet, "The House Of House" with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and "Moshi Moshi" with Steve Aoki. That year was also special because Vini Vici performed on the main stage at Tomorrowland, a huge EDM festival in Belgium!

Vini Vici mainly releases their music through Alteza Records. This label also features other talented artists who create similar electronic music. In 2019, Alteza Records became a sublabel of Smash The House.
