Vitaliy Khmelnytskyi played for several important football clubs. He started his professional career in 1961.
Early Club Years
He first played for Azovstal Jdanov in 1961. After that, from 1962 to 1964, he joined Shakhtar Donetsk. He quickly became a key player for these teams.
Time with Dynamo Kyiv
Vitaliy spent most of his career with Dynamo Kyiv. He played for them from 1965 to 1972. During his time there, he played 217 games and scored 54 goals. Dynamo Kyiv was one of the strongest teams in the Soviet Union.
