Followed by Seeing Double (Cinema)

Viva S Club is the fourth and last TV show starring the British pop group S Club. Unlike their other shows, this one was filmed in Barcelona, Spain, not America. It aired weekly on CBBC from September 20, 2002, to December 27, 2002. All members of S Club were in the show.

The series also featured Alícia González Laá as Maria, the housekeeper. Jeremy Xido played Lyall, who was their mentor from the record company. The show was also aired in the United States. There, it was called "S Club" on the title screen. However, promos often called it "S Club 7 in Barcelona." It aired on ABC Family from September 21, 2002, to December 14, 2002.

During this series, Paul Cattermole left the group. This part of the story copied what happened in real life. Paul really did leave S Club in March 2002. After this TV series, there was also a movie called Seeing Double.

Story of the S Club Adventures

Viva S Club continues the story from Hollywood 7. In that show, the band became very popular in the USA. But they were not as well known in other countries. This series follows their journey to become famous worldwide.

Paul Leaves the Group

In this series, band member Paul Cattermole leaves the group. He only appears in the first five episodes. After Paul leaves, the remaining members of S Club decide to change their name. They become simply "S Club." The show then follows their adventures as a smaller group.

New Manager and Helpers

The group gets a new manager, Mr. Wendelbaum. He hires Lyall to be their mentor and Maria to be their housekeeper. They all work together to help S Club succeed in Spain.

The Final Episode: A Fun Escape

The last episode is called Let's Get Out of Here. It makes a bit of a joke about how their TV series was ending. The story is about Tina and her recent breakup. Her ex-boyfriend's dad is a powerful leader, like a mob boss.

During the episode, the group remembers all their past adventures. In the end, they jump onto a boat. They think it's going back to the United Kingdom. But Jo, one of the members, ends up steering the boat. She tries to get them back to England.

Home Video Releases

Unlike the first three series, Viva S Club was never released on VHS or DVD around the world. However, it has been shown many times on the CBBC Channel.

On March 3, 2008, 19 Management re-released the band's movie, Seeing Double. There were rumors online that Viva S Club would also be released on DVD. But this was never confirmed.

Since S Club broke up in 2003, fans have tried many ways to get 19 Entertainment to release the series. They have created many online petitions, but none have worked so far.
