Olympic Games Success
Vladimir Artemov had an amazing performance at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. He won four gold medals there! These gold medals were for:
- The all-around individual competition, where gymnasts compete on all different equipment.
- The parallel bars, which was one of his strongest events.
- The horizontal bar, another challenging event.
- The team combined exercises, where he helped the Soviet Union win gold.
He also earned a silver medal at the 1988 Olympics for his performance in the floor exercise.
World Championship Medals
Artemov also achieved great success at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. He won gold medals on the parallel bars in 1983 and again in 1987. His skills on this equipment were truly outstanding.

He runs a gymnastics gym there with his wife, Natalia, helping new gymnasts learn and grow.
