Víctor Tomás González, born on February 15, 1985, is a Spanish handball player who has now retired. He was a very important player in the world of handball. In 2023, he was even honored by being included in the European Handball Federation Hall of Fame. This means he is considered one of the best players ever in Europe!

Víctor Tomás played his entire professional career for FC Barcelona, which is a famous sports club. He was also the captain of the team for many years. During his 16 years as a professional player, he won an amazing 69 titles! This included winning the Spanish championship 12 times. He also helped his team win the EHF Champions League, which is a huge European competition, 3 times.

Sadly, Víctor had to stop playing handball at the end of the 2019-2020 season. This was because of a heart condition. To honor his amazing career, FC Barcelona retired his jersey number 8. His shirt now hangs proudly in FC Barcelona's home arena, the Palau Blaugrana.
