Wah Gwin Gwin Falls, also known as Lullaby Falls, is a beautiful waterfall in Oregon, a state in the United States. It is located in Hood River County, right on the property of the old and famous Columbia Gorge Hotel.

This amazing waterfall is fed by Phelps Creek. Its main drop is about 207 feet (63 m) high! That's like falling from a 20-story building. The water rushes down steep rocks and then flows into the mighty Columbia River, which is south of the city of Hood River, Oregon.

You can see the waterfall from a special terrace built right next to the Columbia Gorge Hotel. This terrace has a cool wall made from the same type of stone as the hotel's entrance. It's a great spot to watch the water tumble down!

The Story Behind the Name

The name Wah Gwin Gwin Falls has a special meaning. It is thought to come from a Native American word. This word means "rushing waters," which is a perfect description for a waterfall!

Long ago, there was another hotel on this same spot. It was also called Wah Gwin Gwin. So, both the waterfall and the old hotel shared this meaningful name.
