Waichiro Omura (大村 和市郎, Ōmura Waichirō) was a Japanese football player. He was born on January 1, 1933. He played as a Midfielder and was also a member of the Japan national team.

Waichiro Omura was born in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. After finishing his studies at Rikkyo University, he joined the football team Tanabe Pharmaceutical. He played for this club during his career.

Playing for Japan

Omura was chosen to play for the Japanese national team in June 1956. His first game for Japan was on June 3, 1956, against South Korea. This game was part of the qualification matches for the 1956 Summer Olympics.
