The show ran from March 5, 2012, to May 25, 2012. It took the place of another show called Maria la del Barrio. Later, on May 7, 2012, Wako Wako moved to a different time slot to make way for a new series called Aryana.
The Story of Wako Wako
Wako Wako is about a seven-year-old boy named Muymuy. He really wants to make his dad, who is a respected policeman, proud of him. But Muymuy is a bit shy and not very brave, which makes it hard for him.
One day, Muymuy finds a magical creature! He names this creature Wako. Wako has a special power: it can grant all of Muymuy's wishes. This sounds amazing, right? But Muymuy soon learns that every wish Wako grants comes with a price. There's always something that needs to be given up in return.
A Goddess and a Quest
A mysterious lady named Dyosa Marishka (played by Ai-Ai de las Alas) finds Muymuy. She tells him that Wako is not just any creature; it's an Arukan. Dyosa Marishka is a goddess of wishes, and she needs Wako's help.
The goddess needs to find seven special people. These people must make wishes that are completely selfless, meaning they wish for others without wanting anything for themselves. If she can find these seven people, it will help save her kingdom and bring her power back. In return for Muymuy's help, Wako assists him with his family's problems. It's a heartwarming story about friendship and family bonds!
