Walnut Grove was a small, quiet place in Arkansas, United States. It was known as an "unincorporated community," which means it didn't have its own official town government like a city or a village. Instead, it was part of a larger area called Jackson Township in Pope County.
About Walnut Grove
Walnut Grove was located on Walnut Grove Road, just east of a town called Hector. Even though it wasn't a big city, it had a few important spots. There was a cemetery where people were laid to rest, and a church. These two places were about a mile apart. The cemetery was right next to a small stream called Dare Creek, and the church was on top of a hill about a mile south of the cemetery.
