Walter de Souza Goulart (born July 17, 1912 – died November 13, 1951) was a famous Brazilian footballer. People often called him just Walter. He was a talented goalkeeper, protecting his team's goal.
Walter played for the Brazilian national team. He was part of the squad that competed in the 1938 FIFA World Cup. His team achieved a fantastic third-place finish in that tournament.

Walter's Early Life and Career
Walter was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He started his football journey in 1931. His first club was Andarahy. He played there for one year.
