Fair History
Past Performers at the Fair
Many famous performers have visited the Washington County Fair. Pop singer Britney Spears performed there in 1999. In 2012, singer and actress Miranda Cosgrove was the main entertainer. Hip-hop artist Flo Rida was a featured performer at the fair in 2015.
Fair Events and Changes
In 2013, the fair happened at the same time as the Oregon International Air Show. This caused some traffic problems because the air show was right across the street. In 2016, some people got sick after visiting the fair. Because of this, the fair decided not to let visitors pet animals in 2017.
The fair was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It returned in 2021 for everyone to enjoy again.

Youth and Open Class Exhibits
Young people who are part of groups like 4-H and Future Farmers of America often show their animals. They also display their special collections.
