Waukechon is a small town in Shawano County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In the year 2000, about 928 people lived there. A smaller area called Lunds is also part of the town.

The name Wākecānāpāēw comes from the Menominee language. It means "crooked beak man." This name refers to the Thunderbird Clan of the Ho-Chunk people, who are a Native American tribe.
