About Wes Hall
Early Life and Education
Wes Hall was born and grew up in Saint Thomas, Jamaica. When he was a teenager, he moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
He studied to become a law clerk at George Brown College. A law clerk helps lawyers with their work. After college, he worked in the legal department of a company called CanWest.
Starting His Own Businesses
In 2002, Wes Hall started his own company called Kingsdale Advisors. This company helps other big businesses with important decisions. For example, in 2006, his company helped Xstrata buy another large company called Falconbridge.
He also started another company called QM Environmental. This company works to clean up the environment. They help fix places that have been polluted.
Fighting for Fairness
In 2020, Wes Hall started the BlackNorth Initiative. This group works to stop racism in the business world. They want to make sure everyone has a fair chance to succeed.
Television and University Roles
In 2021, Wes Hall joined the TV show Dragons' Den. On this show, he listens to people's business ideas and decides if he wants to invest his money to help them.
