Wesley Reid Scantlin (born June 9, 1972) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He is famous as the lead singer and guitarist for the rock band Puddle of Mudd. He is the only member who has been with the band since the beginning. Hit Parader magazine once named him one of the "Top 100 Heavy Metal Vocalists."

Wes Scantlin's Music Career
Wes Scantlin started the band Puddle of Mudd in 1991. They released their first collection of songs, called an EP, titled Stuck in 1994. Later, in 1997, they put out a demo album named Abrasive.
Puddle of Mudd Albums
In 2001, Puddle of Mudd added three new members. They then released their first major album, Come Clean. This album helped them become very popular.
Two years later, in 2003, the band released their second album, Life on Display. Their third album, Famous, came out in 2007. After that, they released Songs in the Key of Love & Hate in 2009. Their most recent album, Welcome to Galvania, was released in 2019.
Other Music Projects
Sometimes, Wes Scantlin performs with Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell. They play acoustic versions of Alice in Chains songs together. Wes also worked with other artists on a special show. This show helped raise money after a big natural disaster.
