Schools in Wesley Chapel
Education was important to the people of Wesley Chapel.
- The first school building was built in 1897. This was a big step for the community, giving local children a place to learn.
- Later, in 1912, a brand new school was built. This new building was located about half a mile (which is about 0.8 kilometers) south of the first one.
- The second school was used for many years, helping educate generations of students. It finally closed its doors in 1948.
