West Elkton is a small village located in Preble County, Ohio, in the United States. In 2020, about 164 people lived there. It is part of the larger Dayton area.

History of West Elkton
West Elkton was first planned and built in 1847. Before that, a post office, where people could send and receive mail, had been open in the area since 1844.
Geography and Location
West Elkton is a small place. The United States Census Bureau says the village covers about 0.58 square miles (1.51 square kilometers). All of this area is land, meaning there are no lakes or large rivers within the village limits.
