Where is Wheatland?

Wheatland is located in the southern part of Broadwater County. It covers a large area of land. A major road, U.S. Route 287, runs through Wheatland from north to south. This road connects with Interstate 90 at Exit 274.

Another road, Montana Highway 2, goes east from Wheatland. It crosses the Jefferson River. This highway leads to the city of Three Forks. Three Forks is in Gallatin County, which is next to Broadwater County.
