Whenuakite is a small place found on the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula in New Zealand. The main road, State Highway 25, goes right through it. If you travel from Whenuakite, you'll find Whitianga to the north-west. Coroglen is about 8 kilometers (5 miles) to the west. To the north are Cooks Beach and Hahei, while Hot Water Beach is to the north-east. About 18 kilometers (11 miles) south-east is Tairua. The Whenuakite River flows from the coastal hills in the east, through the area, and into the Whitianga Harbour.
