To the north, Whiskey Creek shares a border with the city of Fort Myers. Fort Myers is the main city where the county government is located.

To the west, the community is next to the Caloosahatchee River. There's also a smaller stream called Whiskey Creek, which is how the area got its name. Across this small creek to the west is another community called McGregor.

To the south, you'll find Cypress Lake. To the east are the communities of Villas, Pine Manor, and another part of Fort Myers.
