Wickes is a small city located in Polk County, Arkansas, in the United States. In 2020, about 637 people lived there.
Near Wickes, you can find the Boggs Springs Youth Encampment. This is a special place for young people from Missionary Baptist churches to gather.
Wickes also has some interesting old places. These include the City Hall, which is over 100 years old, and the Lighthouse Drive-in. The city is also home to the Lawrence M. Magdovitz Memorial Library. This library used to be a U.S. Post Office. Its owner gave it to the town and asked for it to be named after him.

Before 2010, Wickes was part of the Wickes School District. On July 1, 2010, that district combined with the Van Cove School District to create the Cossatot River School District.
