The Widi people lived in a large area of Western Australia. Their land was between Lake Monger and Lake Moore. To the north, they lived near Yuin, Talleringa Peak, and Nalbarra. Their land stretched west to Mullewa and Morawa. To the east, their territory reached Paynes Find and Wogarno, which is south of Mount Magnet. Places like Yalgoo and the upper Greenough River were also part of Widi territory. A researcher named Norman Tindale estimated their traditional lands covered about 35,700 square kilometres (13,800 square miles).
