Wild Mouse at RCDB |
The Wild Mouse is an exciting roller coaster located at Beech Bend Park in Kentucky. This steel coaster was built by Zamperla Rides, a company from Italy. It opened in 2005, bringing thrills to the park's visitors.
About the Ride
The Wild Mouse is a special type of roller coaster. It is a spinning version of a classic "Wild Mouse" design. This means the cars can spin around as you ride! The coaster is 42.7 feet tall and its track stretches for 1,377.9 feet.
Ride Design
This coaster is a Zamperla Twister Coaster. You might find similar rides at other parks. For example, there's Ragin' Cajun at Six Flags America. Another similar ride is The Rockstar Coaster at Fun Spot America.
The Wild Mouse at Beech Bend Park was named after an older wooden Wild Mouse coaster. That older ride used to be at the park. It was later moved to Casino Pier Amusement Park in New Jersey.
Coaster Trains
The Wild Mouse has a total of six trains. Each train is designed to look like a mouse! They come in bright colors: green, orange, purple, blue, pink, and red.
Each train has one row with four seats. This means four people can ride in each car. On busy days, Beech Bend Park usually runs four of these colorful trains.
Riding the Wild Mouse
The Wild Mouse is one of the most popular rides at Beech Bend Park. It often has the longest line! To ride alone, you need to be at least 48 inches tall. If you are 42 inches tall, you can ride with an adult.
The ride is located across the park from the Kentucky Rumbler. It is near Beech Bend Hall. From the top of the first hill, you can even see the Beech Bend RV Park.
