Walter William Fell (born around 1761 or 1762 – died March 27, 1848, in Shap) was an English writer. He was also a teacher for many years.

Life Story of William Fell

William Fell was likely born near Brampton, Cumberland, a place in England. He worked as a teacher in several towns, including Manchester, Wilmslow, and Lancaster. Besides teaching, he was a very busy writer. He wrote many articles and books for people to read.

After he stopped teaching, William Fell moved to Clifton. This village was close to Lowther, Westmorland. He lived there until he passed away. William Fell died in March 1848 in Shap. He was 86 years old. Sadly, his wife, Dorothy, and his son, Edward, had already passed away before him.

William Fell had a lot of property when he died. He decided to leave most of it to the children of his older brother, John Fell. John lived in a place called Swindale Head. This meant that William's only other son, Henry, did not receive any of his father's property. Henry lived far away in Denmark.
