William Herbrand Thomas Sackville, also known as Lord Buckhurst, was born on June 13, 1979. He is the son and future heir of William Sackville, 11th Earl De La Warr. He received the title Lord Buckhurst on February 9, 1988, after his father became an Earl. Lord Buckhurst is also a godson of Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon.

Lord Buckhurst attended Eton College, a famous school in England. After Eton, he went to Newcastle University. He earned a degree with honors in Classical Studies from the university.

Working Life
Lord Buckhurst started his career in the City of London in 2002. He worked at an investment management company called Laing & Cruickshank. This company was later bought by UBS Wealth Management in 2004.
In 2006, he joined another investment firm named Quilter Cheviot. There, he helped manage an investment fund. He also managed money for private clients, which are individuals or families. Lord Buckhurst left Quilter Cheviot in 2018.
Family and Children
In September 2009, Lord Buckhurst became engaged to Countess Xenia Tolstoy-Miloslavsky. Her father is the author and historian Count Nikolai Tolstoy-Miloslavsky. Her family is distantly related to the famous author Leo Tolstoy.
They got married on February 5, 2010. The wedding took place at the Russian Orthodox Cathedral of the Dormition in London.
Their Children
Lord Buckhurst and Countess Xenia have two children. Their first child, a son named William Lionel Robert Sackville, was born on January 24, 2014. Their second child, a daughter named Victoria Elizabeth Anne Sackville, was born on June 6, 2016.
