William Thomas Trenell Brown (born July 5, 1983), known as Willie B, is an American hip hop record producer and rapper. He is from Los Angeles, California. Willie B is also known by his stage name the Ichiban Don.
He is a founding member of Digi+Phonics, a hip hop production team. This team is part of Top Dawg Entertainment, a well-known music label. Willie B is also part of a hip hop group called A Room Full of Mirrors. Other members of this group include rappers Punch and Daylyt.

Willie B's Music Journey
Willie B started his music career in 2005. He quickly became known for his skills in creating beats and producing songs for other artists.
Early Mixtapes and Big Hits
On January 6, 2011, Willie B released a mixtape called I'm Not a Producer. A mixtape is like a collection of songs, often given away for free. This mixtape featured many famous rappers like Jay Rock, Talib Kweli, Busta Rhymes, and Kendrick Lamar.
Willie B is especially famous for producing two songs for Kendrick Lamar: "Ignorance Is Bliss" and "Rigamortis." These songs were on Lamar's albums Overly Dedicated and Section.80. He also produced "Black Lip Bastard" for Ab-Soul and "Gangsta in Designer (No Concept)" for ScHoolboy Q. These artists are all part of the Top Dawg Entertainment family.
Working with Other Artists
Beyond Top Dawg Entertainment, Willie B has produced music for many other artists. These include Freddie Gibbs, Childish Gambino, and Wale.
In a cool and unique move, on July 27, 2013, Willie B released the first-ever instrumental mixtape only on Instagram. This showed his creative way of sharing music with fans.
