Wimpole Village was a fun animated TV show made for younger children. It aired on Children's ITV in the United Kingdom. The show had 42 episodes and was first shown in 1987. The name of the show, Wimpole Village, actually comes from the creator's own home, "Wimpole House."
Later on, a company called Cameron Thomson Entertainment bought the rights to the show. They helped bring Wimpole Village to TV channels in North America and Europe. There has even been talk about making new episodes or showing the old ones again!
