Wing Zone is a restaurant chain that is famous for its chicken wings and burgers. It is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is owned by another food company called Capriotti's.
The company has more than 30 restaurants in the United States and over 60 in other countries around the world. In 2022, it was announced that Wing Zone would open 50 new restaurants in India.
The Story of Wing Zone
Wing Zone was started in 1991 by two students at the University of Florida, Matt Friedman and Adam Scott. They used their college fraternity's kitchen at night to create and perfect their wing recipes.
In 1993, Friedman and Scott opened their first two restaurants in Gainesville, Florida. The company grew and began opening restaurants in other countries. By 2014, Wing Zone had eight locations in Panama City, Panama, and also opened a restaurant in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. A year later, in 2015, a new location opened in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
In 2021, the company Capriotti's bought Wing Zone. The main office, or headquarters, was then moved to Las Vegas.
Flavors and Food
Wing Zone is known for its many different sauces and flavors for its wings. Some of the creative flavor names include "Honey Q," "Liquid Gold," and "Blackened Voodoo." Customers can also order other foods like sandwiches and chicken fingers.
