Wolhusen is a town located in Switzerland. It is a municipality in the canton of Lucerne. Wolhusen is part of the Entlebuch area.

Geography of Wolhusen
Wolhusen covers an area of about 14.3 square kilometers (5.5 square miles). A large part of this land, about 58%, is used for farming. This includes fields for crops and pastures for animals.
Forests cover about 33% of the town's area. The remaining land, about 9%, is developed with buildings and roads. A very small part, less than 1%, includes rivers and other natural areas.
On January 1, 2013, Wolhusen moved to a new administrative area. It changed from the Sursee District to the Entlebuch District.
