- Boys' Basketball: The high school boys' basketball team has been very successful. They reached the state tournament four times in recent years. They placed second in 2009, third in 2011, and even won the Illinois High School Association Class 1A Championship in 2012! They also took home a fourth-place trophy in 2016.
- Baseball: The high school baseball team made it to the "Elite Eight" (meaning they were among the top eight teams) in 2011 and 2017.
- Volleyball: The high school volleyball team earned a fourth-place trophy in the Illinois High School Association 1A State Tournament during the 2014–2015 school year.
Grade School Successes
- Boys' Track: In 2022, the Woodlawn Grade School Boys track team finished second in the Southern Illinois Junior High School Athletic Association (SIJHSAA) State Track Meet. A 7th grader named Keaton (Keko) Koch won three state championships in hurdles and dashes, even setting new state records!
- Boys' Baseball: In October 2022, the Woodlawn Grade School Boys Baseball Team won first place in the SIJHSAA Class S Boys Baseball State Tournament. They had an amazing record of 20 wins and only 3 losses!
- Boys' Basketball: On February 11, 2023, the Woodlawn Grade School Boys Basketball Team also won first place in the SIJHSAA Class S Boys Basketball State Tournament. They had an incredible season with 30 wins and only 1 loss!
