Woods Bay is a small community in Lake County, Montana, United States. It is known as a census-designated place (CDP). In 2010, about 661 people lived there. This was a bit less than the 748 people counted in 2000. By 2020, the population grew slightly to 676 people.

Woods Bay is located in northern Lake County. It sits on the eastern shore of the northern part of Flathead Lake. The community of Bigfork is just north of Woods Bay. Bigfork is in Flathead County.
Getting Around Woods Bay
Montana Highway 35 goes right through Woods Bay. This highway leads north about 5 miles (8 km) to Bigfork. If you go south, it's about 28 miles (45 km) to Polson. Polson is the main town, or county seat, of Lake County. Kalispell is another city about 22 miles (35 km) northwest of Woods Bay. You can reach Kalispell by taking highways 35, 82, and 93.
