About Xandru Fernández's Life
Xandru Fernández studied at the University of Oviedo. He earned a degree in philosophy. Today, he teaches philosophy at a public school in Luanco.
He has won several important awards for his writing. He received the Xosefa de Xovellanos prize for his stories in both 1994 and 1999. Xandru has also helped start many cultural projects. He was part of the team that created the essay magazine Tiempu de Nós.
