Xyriel Anne Bustamante Manabat is a talented Filipino actress born on January 27, 2004. She started acting when she was a child, becoming famous after joining a talent show called Star Circle Kid Quest: Search for the Kiddie Idol. Xyriel became well-known for playing the younger versions of characters in popular TV shows like Agua Bendita and 100 Days to Heaven. How Xyriel Became Famous (2009–2013)

Xyriel started her acting journey in 2009. She joined a talent competition called Star Circle Quest: Search for the Next Kiddie Idol and finished as the third runner-up. After playing small roles in a few shows, her big break came in 2010. She was chosen to play the young Agua and Bendita in the TV series Agua Bendita. This show was very popular, and people loved her so much that her role was extended for several weeks.

In May 2010, Xyriel starred in the main role of the TV series Momay. This show was also a big hit. Later that year, she appeared in the fantasy drama Noah. In December 2010, she acted in the comedy-drama film Ang Tanging Ina Mo (Last na 'To!). This movie was very successful and helped Xyriel win two acting awards: Best Child Actress at the FAMAS Awards and Best Child Performer at the Metro Manila Film Festival.

In May 2011, Xyriel starred with Coney Reyes in the Christian drama series 100 Days to Heaven. This show was incredibly successful and became one of the most-watched TV programs in the Philippines that year. For her role, Xyriel won many awards, including Best Child Performer at the 26th PMPC Star Awards for Television and Child Star of the Year at the Yahoo! OMG! Awards. In November 2011, she starred in the family fantasy drama Ikaw Ay Pag-ibig, which also became a top-rated show.

In December 2011, Xyriel appeared in the movie Enteng ng Ina Mo, which was a big success at the film festival. In January 2012, she starred in the independent film A Mother's Story. Critics praised her performance, and she won her second FAMAS Award for Best Child Actress. In August 2012, her first horror film Amorosa was released. More Roles and a Break (2014–2022)

In January 2014, Xyriel made a special appearance in the drama series The Legal Wife. She played the younger version of the character Monica Santiago. In March 2014, she played the young Mona Roque in the drama Ikaw Lamang. Her acting in an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya in December 2014 was highly praised, earning her an award for Best Single Performance by an Actress.

After a short appearance in the series Wildflower, Xyriel took a break from acting. She wanted to focus on her personal life and her studies. In May 2020, she graduated from high school.

Returning to Acting (2023–Present)

Xyriel Manabat returned to acting in January 2023 with the drama series Dirty Linen. She also attended important events like the Star Magical Prom and the ABS-CBN Ball. Later that year, she appeared in the coming-of-age drama Senior High. Magazines like Candy and Nylon Manila recognized her as one of the most stylish and a breakthrough actress of her generation.

In 2024, Xyriel continued her role in the TV sequel High Street. She also appeared at the Star Magical Prom again, where she was listed among the best-dressed celebrities.

Xyriel was cast as Thea, a close friend in the sports drama Sunshine. This film was shown at the Toronto International Film Festival and was released in the Philippines in July 2025. In 2024, she also joined the cast of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition. After leaving the show, she starred in an episode of the drama Wish Ko Lang!. In July 2025, she was cast in a supporting role as Madeth in the adaptation of the Korean drama It's Okay to Not Be Okay.

Other Activities and Interests

Xyriel Manabat has also been involved in many charity events. In 2011, the TV show 100 Days to Heaven had a special project called "100 Toys to Heaven," where they gave gifts to children. In November 2012, she helped with a Christmas bazaar event that aimed to help children who are not as lucky.

In June 2010, Xyriel performed at a concert party for former Philippine President Benigno Aquino III. In 2011, she recorded her first song, "Kuha Mo?", which was used as a theme song for the TV show 100 Days to Heaven.
