Yair Kraidman has had a long and successful career in chess. He has played in many important tournaments and represented his country on the world stage.
Playing for His Country
Yair Kraidman proudly played for Israel in ten Chess Olympiads. A Chess Olympiad is a big team tournament where countries compete against each other.
- In 1968, he won an individual silver medal at the Olympiad held in Lugano. This was a great achievement for him.
- In 2004, he played for Israel again. This time, he was part of the team that won a gold medal at the 1st World Senior Team Championship in Port Erin.

- In 1959, he finished second in the Israeli Chess Championship.
