Yaritagua is a lively city in Venezuela, located in the state of Yaracuy. It is the main city of the Peña Municipality. With about 120,000 people, it's the second-largest city in Yaracuy, right after the capital, San Felipe.
Yaritagua is often called the Ciudad Dulce de Yaracuy, which means "Sweet City of Yaracuy." This nickname comes from the large amount of sugar cane grown in the area. The city has a rich history and still has some buildings from when it was founded long ago.
