History of Yarych
How the Company Started
The Yarych factory first opened in 1986. Back then, it was a bakery. It focused on making different kinds of baked goods.
Changes in Ownership
In 2000, a very large international company called Nestle bought the factory. Nestle also bought another factory in Lviv called Svitoch at the same time.
Later, in 2008, Yarych was sold again. Two businessmen from Lviv, Volodymyr Hnatiuk and Oleg Klimchuk, became the new owners.
Making Cookies for Europe
In October 2014, Yarych started making special products for a big store chain called Carrefour in Poland. These were "Petit Beurre" cookies. These cookies were new for the factory and for Ukraine. However, they are very popular in Europe. Yarych made these cookies especially to sell in the European market.
New Owners in 2018
