History of Yarych Confectionery

Changes in Ownership
In 2000, a very large international company called Nestlé bought the factory. They also bought another Ukrainian factory called Svitoch at the same time.
Later, in 2008, two businessmen from Lviv, Volodymyr Hnatiuk and Oleg Klimchuk, bought Yarych from Nestle.
New Products and Markets
In October 2014, Yarych started making special cookies for the Carrefour supermarket chain in Poland. These "Petit Beurre" cookies were new for the factory. They were also new for the Ukrainian market.
Petit Beurre cookies are very popular in Europe. Yarych made these specific sweets to help them sell their products in other European countries.
In October 2018, a company called Horizon Capital was allowed to buy the factory. This was approved by the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.
