Yasuhiro Yamada (山田 泰寛, Yamada Yasuhiro, February 13, 1968 – April 8, 2013) was a Japanese football player. He played as a defender.
His Football Journey
Yasuhiro Yamada was born in Hiroshima, Japan, on February 13, 1968. He went to Waseda University and played football there. After finishing university, he joined a team called Yanmar Diesel in 1990.
He played many games for Yanmar Diesel in his first year. In 1992, he moved to a new club named Shimizu S-Pulse. He played as a left side back for this team. With Shimizu S-Pulse, his team finished second in the 1992 J.League Cup and again in the 1993 J.League Cup. He stopped playing professional football at the end of the 1995 season.
Becoming a Coach
After he stopped playing, Yamada started a new career as a coach. In 1996, he began coaching at his old club, Shimizu S-Pulse. He coached their youth teams until 1997, helping younger players learn the game.
In 2000, he became a manager for a new university team, Fuji Tokoha University. In April 2013, this university joined with Tokoha University. Yamada then became the manager for the combined Tokoha University team.
Sadly, Yasuhiro Yamada passed away on April 8, 2013, in Shizuoka. He was 45 years old.
