Yellowstone is a small place in Wisconsin, United States. It's known as an unincorporated community. Yellowstone is located within the town of Fayette, which is part of Lafayette County.
History of Yellowstone
Yellowstone has a bit of history tied to a religious group. In the 1850s, a man named Zenas H. Gurley, Sr. led a branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Strangite) here. This group was a small part of the larger Latter Day Saint movement. They had a community in Yellowstone during that time.
